Symposium Venue

The symposium will be held at the Roland Levinsky Building at the University of Plymouth.

This award winning iconic building which houses the faculty of Art, has spectacular and unique facilities; Two lecture theatres (279/145), a cinema (137), a large exhibition space offering diverse use, cafe with balcony overlooking the city, and large flexible classroom/breakout spaces.  

The building was designed by internationally acclaimed architects Henning Larsen, well-known for their work on the Royal Danish Opera House and the Olympic Village in New York. The building has been part-financed by the European Union, European Regional Development Fund and the South West of England Regional Development Agency.

Accommodation
There are numberous hotels and B&Bs in the Plymouth area, either in town close to the meeting venue or closer to the Hoe. The walk from the Hoe to the University is approximately 20mins
